Located at an altitude of 1608 meters above sea level between the ridges of the Northern Tien Shan, Lake Issyk-Kul is a unique water body. The lake’s basin is part of the global network of biosphere reserves associated with UNESCO’s international biological program. It is one of the few areas on our planet with minimal anthropogenic impact, free from industrial air pollution, water resource contamination, and damage to the plant life.
To develop the resort potential of Lake Issyk-Kul, geological exploration work began in 1972 in the northern coastal zone. The objective was to search for deposits of table mineral waters and thermal mineral waters with balneological significance. As a result of the work, 12 wells were drilled and developed, and one of them, located near the village of Kosh-Kol, with the number 1112-A, yielded a stable flow of thermal siliceous weakly mineralized water enriched with nitrogen gas and possessing a high therapeutic factor when applied externally. Furthermore, in terms of silicon and fluoride content, the water belongs to weakly siliceous and fluoride therapeutic waters and is recommended for drinking.
According to the standards of the World Health Organization, the highest value is given to water extracted from deposits protected from anthropogenic human impact. However, this protection must be established through laboratory observations of the water extracted from the deposit. Recognizing the high mission of preserving the natural purity and healing properties of water, our company has gathered all geological information about the well since its drilling in 1972 and has carried out its major overhaul. After conducting extensive observations of the well’s operation and chemical analysis of the extracted mineral water, the constancy of its chemical composition has been established throughout the entire 50-year period of its emergence to the surface.
The balneological conclusion from the Pyatigorsk Research Institute of Resortology has confirmed that the water from the Kosh-Kol deposit belongs to low-mineralized nitrogen-siliceous thermal waters (NSTW).
Mineralization — 980 mg/l
The treatment with nitrogen-siliceous thermal waters can be considered a part of nanotechnology. More than 40 action mechanisms of this water at both the systemic and cellular levels have been identified and studied. This allows the use of nitrogen-siliceous thermal waters in the treatment of the following conditions:
The mineral therapeutic table water from the Kosh-Kol deposit is applied only during the non-exacerbation phase for the mentioned conditions.
